Although Carolina started off as a dependent on her parents tax return, she took the initiative to have direct contact regarding planning for her future as far as tax preparation and finances. She is the prime example of young adults making it a point to secure a financial foundation by learning the in's and out's, which is quite impressive.
Carolina graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelors in International Affairs and a minor in Communications. During her time at FSU, she was able to receive several scholarships from my sorority (Phi Mu) as well as the Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship from the Department of State. This scholarship covered all of my costs for my human rights study abroad program in Prague which was supposed to take place in 2020.
She graduated with a 3.4 GPA and completed 400 hours of community service as well as holding 2 jobs and serving in 4 different organizations throughout my time being a student. Define your purpose Carolina "I would like to begin my work in the community in the non-profit sector. In the future I aspire to open my own non-profit organization which focuses on the mental health of immigrants and the Latino community!" If you can envision it, you can accomplish it ! Congrats once again, and sending positive energy towards your endeavors.
